About Desert Fresh Inc.

Desert Fresh Inc., was founded in 1993 by two long time Coachella Valley farming families.  Anthony Bianco who is responsible for sales has been in the produce business since 1980.  His father began farming locally in the 1950's.  Blaine Carian, in charge of production, was born in the Coachella Valley and has thirty years of farming expertise.  He has followed in his father and grandfather's footsteps who started farming in the area in 1938.

The Coachella Valley is home to the highest quality table grape production in the world.  It has everything necessary to grow premium grapes, including great weather, soil and water.

Desert Fresh was built on the belief that we would be successful if we consistently produced the best product and pack in the Coachella Valley.  We take great pride in our Labels and the grapes that go into each box.  Desert Fresh can meet any of your packaging needs including bags, plain pack, wraps, and clam shells of varying weight.  The clam shells are packed at the cooling facility using a state of the art packing line that features an electronic check weigher and labeler. This process allows us to guarantee our customers that every clam shell meets the weight requirement in a hygienic setting.  It also gives us the capability to pack tri- and bi-color clams which are not possible to pack in the field.  To view the procedure of the packing line, please contact us to request a password and go to the Clam Shell Packing link.

Food Safety has always been a part of Desert Fresh's commitment to its customers.  Starting in 2003, we have been audited by the USDA utilizing the FDA's criteria to minimize bacterial contamination.
